WATCHELP undertakes to process all the data collected in accordance with the regulations in force applicable to the processing of personal data.
Please read carefully our privacy and personal data processing policy of SAS WATCHELP (hereinafter referred to as “Company”).

The protection of the personal data of all persons registered on the “Watchelp Assistant”, “Watchelp Companion” and “Watchelp Companion Phone” applications, on the Android and IOS versions, is of paramount importance to WATCHELP, which undertakes to process all data collected in accordance with the current regulations applicable to the processing of personal data and, in particular, the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (Law n°78-17 relating to data processing, files and freedoms of 6 January 1978 as amended and General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (RGPD) n° (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016).

This Privacy Policy Statement (hereinafter – “Policy”) is an official document of WATCHELP SAS which is the owner of the rights to use the website https://watchelpapp.com and the applications “Watchelp Assistant”, “Watchelp Companion Phone” and “Watchelp Companion”.

Respect for confidentiality is important to our company because the purpose of this privacy policy is to protect the rights and freedoms of an individual and a citizen when processing personal data, including the protection of privacy, from unauthorised access and disclosure.
This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data and personal information (personally identifiable information and any other related information) about individuals who use WATCHELP’s services.
This Privacy Policy explains our practice of collecting, using, disclosing and protecting information that is collected via our mobile applications and website, and your choices regarding collection and use.
2- How we collect and use information
For users of the “Watchelp Assistant” application, hereinafter referred to as the “the Carer”, we collect and store the following types of information on our servers located at OVH, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubais – France:
- Personal data: when the Helped creates a profile in the “Watchelp Assistant” application, we may collect his/her personal information, such as his/her email address.
- Library” section: when the Carer creates sequences, typical days and typical weeks, all the data concerning them (images, texts, voice instructions, durations, parameters…) are stored in our OVH servers. However, if they are deleted from the “Watchelp Assistant” application, they automatically disappear from our servers.
- Schedule” section: the sequentials, typical days and typical weeks programmed in the schedule are also stored in our OVH servers. However, when they are deleted from the schedule from the “Watchelp Assistant” application, they automatically disappear from our servers.
- “Shop” section: the history of purchases of single pictograms, pictogram packs, sequential or pre-created memos made by the Carer in the shop of the “Watchelp Assistant” application is listed and stored in our servers
- Mood” function: all data related to the sending of the mood, including statistics per day, per week and per month are also stored in our servers: when the Carer requests the mood of the Helped or when the Helped spontaneously sends his/her mood to the Carer
- “Notification – Preferences” function: we record and store in our servers every setting made by the Carer in the “Notifications” section of the “My account” section.
- Metrics: we record and store in our servers the battery level history of the Helped’s smartphone or connected watch, as well as the state of the network on which he/she is connected (Wifi, 4G…).
- Synchronization: any new synchronization between two devices on which the applications “Watchelp Assistant” and “Watchelp Companion” and “Watchelp Companion Phone” are installed is also recorded and stored in our servers.
We will not disclose any of the above personal information to third parties (including law enforcement or other government agencies) except as required by law or court order.
With respect to users of the “Watchelp Companion” and “Watchelp Companion Phone” application, hereinafter referred to as “the “Helped”, we collect and store the following types of information on our OVH servers located at 2 rue Kellermann – 59100 Roubais – France:
- Location (geolocation): we collect and use the unique user ID and location of the mobile device (connected watch or smartphone) on which the “Watchelp Companion” or “Watchelp Companion Phone” application is installed using GPS, WiFi or wireless triangulation to obtain the location of the mobile device to provide our service. At each location check, whether automatic or at the request of the Carer, we record and store the dates, times and locations (GPS coordinates) at which the Helped One was geolocated.
- Personal data of the Helped: if the Carer chooses to fill in the fields “Name”, “First name”, “Age”, “Blood type” and “Allergies” on the profile of the Helped in the “Watchelp Assistant” application, all this information will be recorded and stored in our servers.
- Mood” function: all data related to the sending of moods, including statistics per day, per week and per month are also stored in our servers: when the Carer requests the mood of the Helper or when the Helper spontaneously sends his/her mood to the Carer.
- Pre-created messages: pre-created messages written by the Carer, thus avoiding the need for the Helped to write them himself, are recorded and stored in our servers.
- Alert” function: we record and store all alerts sent by the Helped to the Carer (dates and times)
- The “Memos”, “Pre-created messages”, “Alert” and “Moods” services are used by the Helped only with the Carer’s consent. By accepting this privacy policy, the Carer consents to the collection, processing and storage of the Helped’s personal data
We will not disclose any of the above personal information to third parties (including law enforcement or other government agencies) except as required by law or court order.
3- Purposes of the collection of information
WATCHELP undertakes to ensure that the processing carried out meets an explicit, legitimate and specific purpose. Depending on the case, WATCHELP processes the data collected via the above-mentioned collection points in whole or in part for the following main purposes
Carrying out loyalty actions, studies, surveys, improving the online experience on the website and on the WATCHELP mobile applications:
- Management and processing of user requests for the website and mobile applications “Watchelp Assistant”, “Watchelp Companion Phone” and “Watchelp Companion”.
- Accessing and benefiting from online functionalities and services, such as geolocation, creating and planning sequentials or sending mood requests.
- Management and execution of marketing operations, information and personalised communication Putting you in touch with a WATCHELP consultant.
- Analysis of the use of the website, mobile applications and user browsing behaviour with a view to their optimisation Carrying out studies, analyses, reporting and statistics
4- Recipient of the data
The personal data of the customers are only intended for the services and authorized personnel of WATCHELP as well as, depending on the case, for its partners or service providers in connection with the final customers’ project. WATCHELP has previously ensured that its service providers provide adequate guarantees and respect strict conditions of confidentiality, use and protection of data.
5- Conservation of collected data
In general, the data are kept for the time necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, subject to the obligations to keep certain data in application of the legal or regulatory provisions (for example, accounting and legal retention periods), the settlement of disputes and to assert, exercise and/or defend WATCHELP’s rights.
For example, it has been set at 14 months for connection, navigation and traffic data (cookies) and 36 months for all personal data of inactive persons on the applications “Watchelp Assistant”, “Watchelp Companion Phone” and “Watchelp Companion”. After this period, the data will be completely deleted from our database.
However, all data may be stored for longer than the above-mentioned periods if the data subject gives his consent.
The above-mentioned retention periods have been defined in order to allow WATCHELP to process various requests (information, analyses, contact, statistics…) and/or to carry out its commercial, communication and marketing operations, while respecting the principle of proportionality according to which personal data must not be kept longer than the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.
